Ms. Tan Hong Feng graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of Reading, United Kingdom. She subsequently completed both professional qualification examinations in 2014, namely the Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) in Malaysia and the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) at Nottingham Law School, United Kingdom.
She was called to the English Bar as a Barrister-at-Law of the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple and later admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2016.
Ms. Tan underwent her chambering at a medium-sized legal firm in Kuala Lumpur, where she gained experience in developer projects, loan documentation, contract drafting and litigation support.
Ms. Tan commenced her legal career in banking litigation, where she acted for banking institutions in matters involving debt recovery, foreclosure proceedings and bankruptcy actions.
She later expanded her practice to include conveyancing and general litigation, gaining experience in a wide range of legal matters including commercial disputes, contested litigation, appellate matters (High Court Appeals and Court of Appeal), industrial relations disputes, accident claims, divorce proceedings, probate and resealing applications.
During her years in practice, Ms. Tan has also been involved in drafting and reviewing various commercial agreements for corporate clients, including Shareholders’ Agreements, Partnership Agreements and Non-Disclosure Agreements.
In year 2025, Ms Tan becomes a registered Trademark Agent, Alongside with assisting businesses in Trademark registration, she also provide service for trademark related disputes.
Ms. Tan continues her legal practice with a strong commitment to delivering practical, strategic and effective legal solutions for her clients. Her areas of practice include litigation and corporate advisory, where she strives to achieve optimal and practical outcomes in every matter entrusted to her.
